INSTANT OATMEAL WITH CRANBERRIES AND PECANS

Try instant oatmeal from scratch rather than relying on store-bought — you'll get fresher flavors and add-ins that you can customize to your liking. Make a big batch at the beginning of the week!


TOTAL TIME: 5 MINS


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 c. quick oats

  • 1 tbsp. dried cranberries

  • 1 tbsp. chopped toasted pecans

  • 1/2 tsp. brown sugar

  • Ground cinnamon

  • Grated orange zest

  • Kosher salt

METHOD:

  1. In bowl, place quick oats, dried cranberries and chopped toasted pecans, brown sugar and pinch each of ground cinnamon, grated orange zest and salt.

  2. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup just-boiling water. Let sit 1 min. Stir and eat.
