OUR APPROACH

THE S.A.F.E METHOD

Unlike traditional wellbeing presentations where students sit and listen, The S.A.F.E Method actively engages students through participation, interaction, movement, and shared experiences.

"Through movement, music, dance, games, play, and shared experiences, students feel safe to participate, actively engage, build positive relationships, strengthen school connectedness, and support their emotional, social, and physical wellbeing."

S

SAFETY

Creating emotionally and physically safe environments where students feel seen, accepted, included, and free to express themselves without judgement.

A

ACTIVATION

Using movement, music, dance, rhythm, games, and play-based experiences to activate participation, engagement, and positive social interaction.

F

FOUNDATIONS

Building strong foundations for confidence, emotional wellbeing, positive relationships, and a stronger sense of belonging within the school community.

E

EMPOWERMENT

Supporting students to build self-belief, strengthen communication skills, develop emotional regulation, and feel empowered within themselves and with others.

KIA ORA

SO ARE YOU

IN AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

Te Whakatipu Hauora through movement, music, and connection, now delivered across schools, kura, and early learning centres in Aotearoa NZ.

RETURNING HOME TO AOTEAROA

SO ARE YOU™ founder Jenna Chaffey was raised in rural Aotearoa New Zealand and is proud to whakapapa to Ngāti Porou. Growing up surrounded by strong whānau values and community connection helped shape her belief that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and capable of achieving great things.

Bringing SO ARE YOU™ to Aotearoa is more than an expansion, it is a return home, and an opportunity to give back to the communities and values that helped shape its foundation.

WHAT SCHOOLS ARE SAYING

DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT

"My son absolutely loved attending kid’s class. He instantly felt comfortable with Jenna, safe, supported, and completely at ease, which showed throughout the whole session. He’s usually quite calculated and likes to suss things out before joining in, but this time he had zero hesitation. He ended up being the loudest, most talkative kid of the night!"

Laura

Parent of Student Attendee

"Having had the chance to include the Be.Me School Program as a tier two intervention, I can genuinely say that Jenna and her team are outstanding facilitators. their enthusiasm and commitment have positively impacted the students involved in the program. I would recommend the Be.Me program to any schools seeking a program to boost school engagement or to support the wellbeing of a specific cohort of student."

Natalie Marcok

Acting Assistant Principal, Nearnung Primary School

"Jenna spoke at a personal development conference for our staff; Jenna delivered a 60-minute presentation on stress development to elevate staff performance. We had a mixed dynamic of staff in the room, from early childhood educators right up to senior management. the session was interactive, informative & fun. The staff were absolutely BUZZING by the end of the session. Jenna used humour, is personable & she got everyone involved in the session. we will be getting her back; it was that good. The feedback we received from staff was INCREDIBLE."
